Even knowing the science and many successful stories behind Light Therapy, I am constantly amazed by how the human body, and animals as well, responds and heals with this incredible method. Here are a few examples of those who have undergone Light Therapy along with their stories.

Squeaker - Severe Mutilation of Wing
My cockatoo Squeakers suffered from severe mutilation. His right wing, exposed mutilated skin to the bone. He couldn't lift, open or spread out the wing. The vetarinarian was suggesting amputation, which wasn't a option for me. Squeakers also stopped eating and became lethargic. Luckily, I was introduced, through my veterinarian, a new treatment known as Light Therapy. I contacted the Light Therapist, Hana, and she came to my home to perform many treatments. The light wasn't invasive and surprisingly relaxing for Squeakers. It didn't take too long before he started eating again. We built for him a special neck brace to prevent mutilation again. I was truly skeptical at first, for any possibility of regrowth of his feathers, but treatment was successful. His feathers regrew in 6 weeks to a beautiful plumage! Hana was such a blessing, in not only helping Squeakers heal, but to work with me and help me cope with the situation. We worked together to solve the challenging problem and prove that Light Therapy saved my bird's wing, by keeping the cells alive! Squeakers is back to being his normal and happy self. I would recommend Light Therapy as an alternative healing method.
